# Safeguard 2027

> Safeguard is the AI deepdive retreat for fraud, identity, and compliance leaders. The second edition runs May 10–13, 2027 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There are no keynotes, no expo hall, and no panel theater — the format is pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings, intimate Chatham House Rule roundtables, and immersive experiences.

- Attendance: by application only, via the Hosted Practitioner Program
- Cost: accepted practitioners attend as guests — complimentary pass plus up to $1,500 in travel reimbursed; average out-of-pocket for US attendees is ~$200
- Who qualifies: practitioners with fraud, identity, risk, or compliance responsibilities at banking, fintech, payments, crypto, e-commerce/retail, or SaaS/marketplace companies who influence vendor selection. Consultants, solution providers, and VCs do not qualify as hosted practitioners
- Registration: open now; final application deadline April 16, 2027
- First edition: May 2026, same venue — 650+ attendees from 300+ companies and 6,700+ pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings (NPS 81)
